How long can a bird live? Ever wonder how old the oldest bird banded and
recovered was? I stumbled across this today at the Bird Banding Lab
website at:

_http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/BBL/homepage/longvrec.htm_
(http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/BBL/homepage/longvrec.htm)

Not surprising the top ten birds are seabirds with the longest surviving
species in the BBL database being a Laysan Albatross at almost 51 years.

Good birding...
