As the Lake goes down to normal level we have some shorebird habitat. Seven
species tonight with 17 Semipalmated Plovers and 3 American Golden Plovers.
Thousands of Tree Swallows were congregating in the South Fork area also.
This is the same area the Royal Tern found by Jay and Steve delighted many
birdersa few years back, Six species of warblers and a White-Eyed Vireo were
spotted today by Mike and Vicky Stephens in the area also. A Whip-poor-will
was calling at the Honey Creek Resort last night. Tom J
