During a trip to Bedford yesterday afternoon, I spotted a wire perching
Loggerhead Shrike on Hwy 148, one mile north  of county road J-20. This would
be the first of the year for me.

I also saw four Bald Eagles in Montgomery and Taylor Counties. Two being
perched on the ground or out in the middle of a farm field.

Plus numerous skeins of Snowgeese flying about in their undulating patterns.
