Hey everyone, As many of you may know, I spent 8 days in Costa Rica with Victor Emmanuel Nature Tours last week thanks to Linda Donelson's very thoughtful and generous note that she posted here almost a month ago. I thought some of you might like to see some of the birds we saw during the tour.
A selection of my best photos from the trip are posted on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/swallowtailphoto/ The highlight bird of the trip for almost everyone on the tour, was of course, the Quetzal. The wackiest bird of the trip was a Mangrove Cuckoo that I found perched at the top of a 100ft Oak, halfway up a mountain at 8500ft. Crazy! Anywho, enjoy! --Chris -- Happy Birding! --Chris W, Madison, WI http://swallowtailedkite.blogspot.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/swallowtailphoto [email protected] --- Please contribute your sightings to our list; it is only as good as members make it! --- Birding channel recommendation for FRS/GMRS radio use: Primary selection; channel 5/0 , alternate selection; channel 6/0 --- This mailing list is sponsored by the Iowa Ornithologists' Union.
