Birders This AM at Bever Park in SE C.R., all 7 of Iowa's woodpeckers and all 2 of Iowa's kinglets. This PM at Cedar Lake, a Lesser Yellowlegs at the emerging muddy "delta" where McCloud Run enters the lake. Very little on the lake itself, and certainly no newcomers.
This is the first time in the history of me that I've found a migrant shorebird in Iowa before even seeing a pheasant.
