At the Lamoni sewer lagoons, there was a female Hudsonian Godwit wading in
one of the upper pools.

My son, Caleb along with Jeff & Jenia Livingston watched it for about a
half hour at a distance of about 30 yards.

Notable details include a white rump patch, distinct supercillium and
black pattern under the wings.   It also was noticably larger than the
Greater Yellowlegs around it (and the Stilt Sandpiper, that is still
around).   It also had a two tone decurved bill.  The bird never took
flight, but did spend some time bathing and preening.
