The Iowa City Bird Club's Warlber Walk in Hickory Hill Park this
morning (5/10) was pretty slow. We started the morning with a
"Brewster's"-type Warbler singing a Golden-winged song. James
Huntington found us a Mourning Warbler, never saw it but we heard it
singing. If you're looking on the map
(http://icbirds.org/hhp/hhp2x10in100k.jpg) it was along the red line
under the "6 North Canyon" type along the creek. After the trip ended
I took a walk along towards St. Joseph's cemetery where I saw a single
CLAY-COLORED SPARROW at the "no trespassing" sign area in the field
across from the last house (before entering park) on Conklin Ave. For
trip members, some of the birds listed below I saw later in St.
Joseph's and Oakland Cemetery.
