At Mallard Marsh there were 3 Short-billed Dowitchers, a few Least,
Semi-pal, Pec and a Spotty in a pond near the marsh; also a nice flock of
warblers at the woods which included a Mourning Warbler.

At Pilot Knob I had four Scarlet Tanagers, (or one that followed me all the
way through the park), warblers including a Mourning but NO Cerulean.

At Eagle Lake I saw Red-necked Grebe as previously reported besides more
warblers, including a Mourning. I saw an Orchard Oriole that was
strange....it looked like an adult with full black hood and black down the
back and wings, but it was the greenish coloring of an immature.

I ended up with fourteen species of warblers, small pockets of them were at
every stop I made with Tenn. the most abundant. Vireo's were everywhere
also.

Still numbers of Pelicans around, plus Black Terns and Swainson's Thrushes.
