The Iowa City Bird Club's first Wednesday Birdwalk was to Sycamore Greenspace [Iowa City's name], AKA Sycamore Bottoms

Birds: Canada Goose, Ring-necked Pheasant, Killdeer, Mourning Dove, Barn Swallow, Common Yellowthroat, Song Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Indigo Bunting, Red-winged Blackbird, American Goldfinch
Butterflies: Grt Spangled Fritillary, Ea Tailed Blue, various sulphers
Plants: Rattlesnake Master, Spiderwort, others

After a buggy, relatively birdless hour at Sycamore, we tried to find Oxeye Prairie, a small natural prairie owned by Iowa City that was nearby. We found an interesting place which may or may not have been the right place.

Oxeye Prairie [maybe]
Birds: Canada Goose, Ring-necked Pheasant, Red-winged Blackbird
