I got out for a little while this afternoon and drove around NW Warren Co. I saw a couple of birds I did not expect to see. At Maffitt Reservoir there was a Common Loon in basic plumage. At the wetlands south of Blue Flag Marsh there was one Great Egret and three Green Herons. And along the road between there and Blue Flag Marsh there were three each of Bell's Vireo and Willow Flycatcher. Good birding...
