"Ralph Handsacker's Talking Eggs"

Iowa Audubon's 2010 fundraiser will be held at McFarland Park Conservation 
Center, 56461-180th St. Ames, Iowa.  The event includes a social hour with 
appetizers and beverages, home-made desserts, and silent auction.  Guest 
speaker and Zearing, Iowa, native Carrol Henderson, author of 12 books on birds 
and nature, will tell the story of "Ralph Handsacker's Talking Eggs"--the 
now-famous egg collection he discovered at an old farm near Colo, Iowa, in 
2005.  Pelican Gala proceeds will further bird conservation and education in
