The DSM Audubon group visited the NW corner of Errington Marsh this morning in search of rails and sparrows. No luck with rails, but there were good numbers of sparrows. 10+ LeConte's Sparrows provided good studies for everyone. 1-2 Nelson's Sparrows were present, but more secretive. Savannah and Swamp Spaarrows were common, with a few Vespers. An American Bittern was a nice bonus.
