Birders,
I led a bird walk at the Brenton Arboretum this morning. Weather
conditions were ideal, and sparrows were plentiful.

Harris's Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Fox Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Le Conte's Sparrow (At least 10)
Nelson's Sparrow
Vesper Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow (Numerous)
Lincoln's Sparrow

Also, a Purple Finch, a couple of Cooper's Hawks, American Kestrels,
flocks of American Robins, Eastern Bluebirds, Blue Jays, and various
blackbirds, 2 Orange-crowned Warblers, a Gray Catbird, a few Dark-eyed
Juncos and many Yellow-rumped Warblers.

Good birding,
John Bissell
Grimes
