This morning I tagged along with Mike Tompkins and Francis Moore on a
mission to find the Red Phalarope. I forgot my camera which increased our
odds. Sure enough, in great light and fairly close, there it was -mostly
white with a gray back. Also,

American Golden Plover - 3
Semi-palmated Sandpipers - 2
Least Sandpiper -1
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1
American Pipits - 10
Snipe -2
Tree Swallows - 15
Mute Swan - flew low overhead (forgot my camera you know)
Bald Eagles -2
Shoveler Ducks - 20
Killdeer - 70
Savannah Sparrow - 1
and other stuff

Great spot, easy viewing - thanks for the posts. Tom Schilke, Waterloo
