Hi All, I made a brief spin around Cherry Glen and Oak Grove late this morning, but admittedly didn't spend a whole lot of time at either locale. I did scope Polk City WA and found a handful of waterfowl (about 300 birds; Mallards, Green-winged Teal, and Ring-necked Ducks) and a small roost of gulls (both Ring-billed and Franklin's). I did have 6 very distant shorebird sp. with a few Killdeer, but not much else of note. Belatedly, I had a female Purple Finch at my feeders in Ankeny on Monday (Oct 25).
