At Lake Manawa this morning, 10/29, we were birding with Jim and Sandy Kovanda. In addition to a good-sized raft of waterfowl with at least 7 species of ducks, we saw: a Common Loon, 4 Horned Grebes and had a great look at an immature Golden Eagle that flew around for about 10 minutes (sometimes being harrassed by a Red-tailed Hawk) before finally heading south.
