I had plenty of scoping at Lake Red Rock today, looking through several
rafts of diving and puddle ducks from Whitebreast to the dam. Among all
those ducks I managed to find a trio of SURF SCOTERS (female/imm.) and at
least 6 Horned Grebes. Also, common today were 25+ Common Loons. Most were
resting on the surface and easy to spot.
