Birders, Ann Johnson has created a Facebook page for the Iowa Ornithologists' Union. This site is meant to complement the IOU website and this listserv. Be sure to become a fan as there will be periodic announcements as well as other interesting features which are still in the planning stages at this time.
Facebook is riding a large wave of popularity right now and putting the IOU out there is a good idea as it will allow current members of the IOU to have another way to correspond with each other as well as attract new members.
