Hello Birders,
I thought I would finally post some backyard sightings from Bronson I have
had of late. At the feeders I am regularly seeing a first winter
White-throated Sparrow, two Harris's Sparrows, and two Brown-headed
Cowbirds. These three species have been present for over a month now.

Yesterday I saw a flock of about 20 icterids that I think were either
Red-winged Blackbirds or Brown-headed Cowbirds, but I only saw them in
flight for a few seconds w/o binoculars. Hopefully they will come in and
try out the feeders.

Some more irregular sightings include the Brown Creepers, a Northern
Shrike about 1/2 mile from my house, and a Cooper's Hawk which made an
appearance for the first time this season on January 1st.

God Bless,

Tucker J. Lutter
