Got good looks(fairly close scope) at 7 Western Meadowlarks today just east of
Packwood Rd on 130th. Same place I found them last summer.

There were 15 Bald Eagles on Hwy 78 near Jasmine near Packwood. Looks like a
farmer feeds them, maybe puts out pig parts for them, as they are munching
on something meaty looking in the field close to the house associated with a
small pig operation. Hope the meat doesn't have too much growth hormone, etc;
Silent Spring all over again.

Also saw 17 Pheasants, all but 2 males, towards the west end of 185th south of
the eagles.

Couldn't find any snow buntings or longspurs anywhere around there--just a few
small flocks of Horned Larks. Yesterday I saw a flock of about 50 Snow
Bunting/Longspurs on Airport Rd north of Fairfield.

Lot's of American Tree Sparrows in the general area. And last week I found a
flock of 50 near the Fairfield Loop trail east of Pleasant Plain Rd.

Yesterday I saw about 15 EC Doves at the grain operation just north of FF.
