My husband and went looking for waterfowl at Twin Lakes.  Here's a recap:

Location:     South Twin Lake
Observation date:     3/18/11
Notes:     Still a fair amount of ice on the water.  Also saw many gulls, but 
could not ID them.
Number of species:     5

Canada Goose     4
Wood Duck     5
Common Merganser     46     Mix of Male and Female; did not try to count by 
gender

Downy Woodpecker     1
Red-winged Blackbird     1



Location:     North Twin Lake-General
Observation date:     3/18/11
Notes:     Also gulls we weren't able to ID, and ducks too far out to ID 
clearly.
Number of species:     8

Canada Goose     7
Bufflehead     2
Blue Jay     1
American Crow     4     Standing on ice on the Lake
American Robin     33     Mostly at Featherstone
European Starling     2
Red-winged Blackbird     1
Common Grackle     1
