In addition to a sagan* of yellow-rumped warblers at Hickory Hill Park in Iowa
City this morning, there was either a Tennessee or orange-crowned warbler. I
lean toward Tennessee - the breast had no hint of streaking - but it kept its
beak shut, and I wouldn't really expect Tennessee warblers for another couple
of weeks.

There was also a golden-crowned kinglet, a house wren, and some hermit
thrushes.

* 1 sagan = billions and billions. Seriously - if anyone had a hard time
finding yellow-rumped warblers this morning, I think they were all at Hickory
Hill. I've never seen them in such large numbers.
