Just did a walk-about at Beaver Bottoms Wetland, and found the following birds:
* RT Hawk * GB Heron * Great White Egret * Coot * BW Teal * N. Shovelor * Wood Duck * H. Merganser * Mallard * Gadwall * Canada Goose * White Pelican (Including one dead one) * Cardinal * WB Nuthatch * RW Blackbird * Titmouse * YR Warbler * Water Thrush (flew before I could ID the species) Beaver Bottoms Wetland is a private wetland located 1 1/2 miles S. of Granger. This morning we also had our first Eastern Towhee (in our Urbandale yard) in several years.
