This morning (9AM)in the rain/snow with binoculars I saw what I believe was a Western Grebe swimming in the larger South lake. My attempts to locate a fellow birder in the area with a scope were not immediately successful and I thought it best to post before delaying further. I see from the records that Western Grebe has been reported in the past from adjacent or nearby counties. If you are successful in finding the bird and ID it, I would appreciate your reply on or off list. Thanks and good luck.
