The grebe fest continues. Today Mike Tompkins and I looked the lake over. From the dam:
Red-necked Grebe Eared Grebe - 5 Horned Grebe - 4 Common Loon - 2 Red Head - 2 Lewis Bottoms: Willet -4 Stilt Sandpipers - 12 or so Sure a lot of dead birds on the flats Also a singing N. Parula in Benton Co. Wish I could be at the IOU - good luck in SW Iowa. It is off to rehearsal with the Texas Tenors for this birder.
