Nine male and four female Grosbeaks, my first male Oriole and a House Wren
in the backyard.

At dawn I could see that there were many Yellow-rumped Warblers in the
trees. With the daylight came a fall out of birds. Seven Grosbeaks,
Swainson's Thrushes, Purple Finches 8 - 10, White-throats with a sprinkling
of White-crowns Kinglets all over the backyard trees and an Ovenbird
strutting around. So then I went to the park and added Brown Thrashers, H.
Wrens, a f. Towhee, Black and White and Nashville Warblers to the myriad of
Yellow-rumps, more Swainson's, White-throats thick on the ground with an
occasional White-crown and Swamp Sparrow, and, of course, the Barred Owl.

Spring has sprung!
