So far this spring I am aware of three possible nesting osprey in Dickinson County. The lastest nest is a follow up from my post last night with osprey nest found today at the Okoboji High School at the baseball field. The osprey was at the nest site tonight. Even without it their the tail of a northern pike laying in the baseball field would been strong evidence of a osprey using the area.
I didn't see the summer tanager in the yard today but got home late. Hope to see it tomorrow.
