On returning from the Cayler Prairie Bird Conservation Area dedication this afternoon, Bruce Ehresman and I found a BLACK-NECKED STILT just NW of Rush Lake in Palo Alto County. It was located in a small wetland immediately NW of the intersection of 355th Avenue and 480th Street (Co. Hwy B63).
