Yesterday, May 13, was a lovely birdy day at Cardinal Marsh despite the
gray skies. I saw 8 warbler species including blackpoll, magnolia and
blackburnian. The big treat was two pairs of scarlet tanagers. Today
with temperatures in the forties the Baltimore oriols are eating suet
cake. Ah spring.
