Hey I-Birders,
TNC's Ames High Prairie (Ames, Story County) wasn't exactly dripping with
birds, but my species list for a 30 minute walk was pretty good. Eleven
species of warbler included GOLDEN-WINGED, CHESTNUT-SIDED, BLACK AND WHITE,
MAGNOLIA, and CAPE MAY. Migration is treating us better this year than last,
isn't it?
Good Birding,
