Birders,

The last 3-4 days have yielded 24 species of warblers here in Ames.
All of these sightings came from either Emma McCarthy Lee Park or
Brookside Park:

Nashville Warbler
Northern Parula
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Palm Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Mourning Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Wilson's Warbler
Canada Warbler

Gray-cheeked Thrush
Swainson's Thrush
Veery (5/13)
Philadelphia Vireo
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher
"Traill's" Flycatcher

Lastly, I was surprised to hear two different NELSON'S SPARROWS in
full song at Dunbar Slough several nights ago.  That was a first for
me.
