Hi All, While watching the chaos unfold in Oklahoma last night from afar, I had a Pine Siskin singing in the backyard. First thing this morning, I had a spiffy male Indigo Bunting checking out my feeder setup, a first for the yard. I've been watching a female Brown-headed Cowbird attempt to lay an egg in a Robin's nest under our eaves all week, but thus far she has not been successful. A Gray Catbird first visited my jelly feeder a few days ago, so far the first and only species to do so, and continues to visit it sporadically. Some baby Mallards walking around the neighborhood as well already. Danny Akers Ankeny [email protected]
