Shorebird migration is getting underway and the mudflats at Cardinal
Marsh hosted 70+ summering killdeer this evening, plus 25 least
sandpipers, 4 pectoral sandpipers, 4 solitary sandpipers, 3 spotted
sandpipers and 2 lesser yellowlegs. In addition there were a couple
proud sandhill cranes with one colt.
