Birders,

This morning, I observed a Summer Tanager at Mt. Ayr Wildlife Area in
Ringgold county.  The bird was giving its signature "pit-ti-tuck" call and
later came out to allow me to further confirm the identification.  This is
the first of this species I have seen this summer/fall.  This seemed to me
to be a bit late for this guy, but the IOU webpage states that late dates
are in late November and early December.  I guess I was mistaken...
