Thanks to those who responded. I can happily say that I found some
Eurasian Tree Sparrows on Tama Road, along a marshy/reedy area
approximately 1-2.5 miles East of Co. Rd. 99.  First sighting was at 9:22
AM and I found a nice spot where a collection of ashes were growing that I
got some pictures of an individual at 9:45.

This particular species, I think, is relatively interesting when you
consider the populational history and the implications for small
population demographics (especially after a relatively large range
expansion from a starting population of 20 individuals).
