James Huntington and I both had Tuesday off work so we teamed up for some
birding. We started at Errington Marsh in Polk County where we positively ID'd
3 LeConte's Sparrows and flushed a couple of other sparrows that were likely
LeConte's. We did not find any Nelson's.

We then went to Pinchey Bottoms (Marion Co) following up on Jay's shorebird
report from the weekend. Most of the same shorebirds remained, along with a
Hudsonian Godwit as a new arrival. Some shorebirds were  too far to ID. Our
species were:

--American Golden Plover
--Black-bellied Plover
--Dowitcher sp.
--Hudsonian Godwit
--Lesser Yellowlegs
--Semipalmated Sandpiper
--Least Sandpiper
--Pectoral Sandpiper
--Stilt Sandpiper

The Plovers and the Godwit were frequently in the air and it was very enjoyable
to watch the flock(s) fly and pick out the Godwit in the group and ID the 2
types of plovers as they flew.

We made one last very quick stop at Diehl Pond where we scoped a few more
shorebirds from the road. The shorebirds there were:

--American Golden Plover
--Wilson's Snipe
--Long-billed Dowitcher
--Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs
--Stilt Sandpiper
