We saw 1-2 Kingfishers per mile.
And an adult Bald Eagle, perched in a tree, hanging its wings out to dry. I have seen Cormorants do this and Turkey Vultures on cool mornings, but never an eagle. My theory is that it missed a fish and got wet, because at 70 degrees and no wind, it surely was not seeking warmth.
