The snowy owl was out again on Sunday am on top of the power pole and later in the fenceline south where it might have been eating.

Thanks for locating it.

Subject: [ia-bird] Holstein, Iowa Snowy owl

Hi,
I watched the snowy owl this morning twice fly from the power
pole across from the Great Plains Dairy, Ida County
as it flew to the south and land. Each time it was because of some
disturbance near the # 2 driveway into the three dairy building. After
a few minutes it would return to the power pole near the # 2 driveway.
If anyone wants to view this snowy, it is on 130 street about
two miles north of Holstein, Iowa on Hwy 59 and then west on 130
street, until you come to the barns. If you stop about one pole back
it seems to stay put.

Don
