This evening there were a few hundred gulls between L&D 14
and Butterworth Parkway in Moline. Ring-billed Gulls remained
numerous along with Herring Gulls. Rarer species included:
1 Juv. Glaucous Gull
1 Juv. Thayer's Gull
2 Adult, 1W Lesser Black-backed Gulls
1 Juv. Iceland/Thayer's Gull, Iceland in all aspects except
apparent darker primaries.
Waterfowl, especially Common Goldeneyes and Canvasbacks, were
abundant on Pool 14. Notable at Lindsay Park in Davenport was:
1 White-winged Scoter
