Cold but nice looking day.  Not enough snow to bring any Laplands or Snow
Buntings out.  Matter of fact very very slow but some nice quality birds.

Merlin 2  both Prairie race  (Table Marsh and 320th and Fayette)

  Sharp-shinned Hawk 1

Snowy Owl 1  (new location at 320th and just east of Fayette along the dead
end road)--I did cover all the know locations in Woodbury except the two
locations west of I-29 but could only find the one.

Short-eared Owl 9  (8 at Owego and 1 a North Luton WA.  Owego 4:40 nothing at
all by 4:50 there were 8 flying and viewable all at the same time.  North Luton
had on perched in the parking along K42 between 240th and the canal on the
north.

  Red-tail Hawk 2
  Northern Harrier 2
  Rock Pigeon 1
  Great Horned Owl 2
  Black-capped Chickadee  16
  White-breasted Nuthatch 1
  American Tree Sparrow congregations everywhere
  Dark-eyed Junco 7
  Northern Cardinal 1
  Red-winged Blackbird 40
Meadowlark species 28 (24 in one flock)
  The glorious European Startling--surprisingly numerous....
The stunning English Sparrow --surprisingly vocal....
