Dear Iowa Birders,

Yesterday, Angie Bicker of the Clinton Herald interviewed me for 2 hours about
Birding, here in Clinton. We met at Eagle Point Park Lodge. To my delight,
the first bird we spotted was the Pileated WP. It soared back and forth over
our heads a few times, plus it perched on a snag for quite a few mins. which
gave Angie the opportunity to see it up close and personal.

Angie is looking for at least 15 photos for the birding article. She took some
pictures at Eagle Point and also at Bickelhaupt Arboretum. Does anyone out
there have a photo of the Pileated Woodpecker they wouldn't mind having
prinited in "Bridges" magazine, of course with your acknowledgement?

"Bridges" is a first rate local magazine published by the Clinton Herald which
focuses on events in Clinton and Fulton. I need the photo by Thursday.

Hopefully the snowy owl is within range for me. Thursday, I am driving to Iowa
City and, if I don't see one there, I will head to the CR Eastern IOwa airport.

Thanks to all you birders in Cedar Rapids who called me with information.

Thanks!

Linda Boardsen
