There are two Bald Eagles actively building a nest South of the Mason City
High School on the Winnebago River, across from the Water Treatment plant.
Look down-river on the left side high in a tree which I think was
previously a heron rookery. The nest has gotten quite a bit bigger since
last Friday when I first spotted the Eagles.

Also last Friday there were eight or more Trumpeter Swans a little farther
down the river, but I did not see them the past two days when I checked.
