Yesterday I was able to see the same Snowy mentioned by Ty Smedes. I don't know if we would have found it if he had not been parked watching it! Since we had driven from Leon, and spent 3-4 hours looking I was delighted to find it. I posted two pictures to flickr, quite distant, but they might be of help to someone who is trying to locate this bird. It was sitting pretty far out in a field, first at the base of the white post in the picture, and then flew to the top of the post, where it remained until we finally left. http://www.flickr.com/photos/74024107@N02/
