The last to years here in Sac City I have had a Titmouse around but not this year. Instead I have a Merlin patrolling the feeders. Last year I had a Sharp-shinned Hawk patrolling the feeders. Started the year with four first year Harris sparrows but now down to two. I guess the Merlin has to eat.
