Birders,

Late this morning there was a flock of about 25 White-winged Crossbills and at
least 30 Common Redpolls at John F. Kennedy Park in Webster county. This park
is several miles north of Fort Dodge on Hwy P56. The entrance to the park is
on the left side of the road. Once you turn in, go just past the golf course
entrance (which is south of the park road) and enter the large parking area
with a shelter. All the birds were in the spruces just west of this shelter
and parking area.
