On my way back to my hometown I found the following highlights: Killdeer - Jack Trice Stadium parking lot (first of the year) 15 Species of waterfowl Red-winged Blackbird - flocks of 100+ with a many single males along roadsides (mainly in southern Iowa) Common Grackle - 1 male (Union County) Rusty Blackbird - 3 (Union County) American Robin - 60
