The potholes are about 2/3 open. Not too much for waterfowl yet, but some
beautiful Northern Pintail, Ring-necked Ducks, Common Goldeneye, Gadwalls
and Mallards. Canada, Cackling, Snow, Ross', and Greater White-fronted
Geese were all on the remainng ice shelves, and a pair of Trumpeter Swans
were laying down with a chunk of Canada Geese. Also at the potholes were
4 Ring-billed Gulls.
