Along with the other Sat. reports of Eastern Phoebe there were singles seen in Lee County and Des Moines County. The Iowa City Bird Club birded SE Iowa on Saturday and along with the Phoebes we had 22 species of waterfowl. We had a large kettle of Pelicans at Blackhawk Bottoms in Des Moines County. The other highlight was the Lesser Black-backed Gull at the Ft. Madison riverfront.
