This morning I was delighted by the sight of two male Red-Breasted
Mergansers on Swan Lake (located in Swan Lake State Park, just 2 miles
south of Carroll). I may have also seen a Pied-Billed Grebe, which would
have been my FOY, however, the individual took flight before I could make
a positive identification. Elsewhere in the park, Song Sparrows were
singing away and RW Blackbirds were making a ruckus! I wish that I could
have stayed longer, but had to rush off to work:-(

Happy birding to all!!!
