This morning while scoping a few "sparrows" on a fence I was
surprised when they turned out to be SMITH'S LONGSPURS! Up to
8 were on the barbwire for a 10 minute period, then the flock
of 40 flew deeper into the corn stubble field. The spot was
southeast of Lone Tree, along the Wapello Ave. and just north
of 660th St. The fenced field was on the west side of the road.

Also today, I spotted my FOY Osprey over Lake Macbride.
